Madge Walker Kellam, 93, wife of the late Preston C. Kellam and a resident of Nassawadox, VA, formerly of Exmore, VA, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Belle Haven, VA, she was the daughter of the late George Jackson Walker and Carrie Alberino Walker. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Women of the Moose, and the Soroptimist Club. Mrs. Kellam is survived by a son, P. C. Kellam Jr. and his wife Mickey of Silver Beach, a daughter, Victoria Kellam Baxter and her husband Gary of Melfa; a daughter-in-law, Anne L. Kellam of Cheriton; six grandchildren, Peggy Lynn Kellam of Exmore, Julie Walker Gilliam and her husband Jeff of Virginia Beach, Susan Claire Kellam of Silver Beach, Rebecca Baxter Swanson and her husband Michael of New Britain, CT, James C. "Neal" Kellam of Cheriton and Micah Kellam of Burke, VA; three great-grandchildren, Sydney Kellam, Riley and Jacob Gilliam; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Ronnie Kellam, a brother, A. C. Walker, and a sister, Evelyn Prettyman. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 17th, at 11:00 AM at the Belle Haven Cemetery with Rev. L. Raymond McGarr officiating.
