Mabel Bell Hamblin, 90, wife of the late James Edward Hamblin and a resident of Willis Wharf, died Tuesday, Jan, 25, 2005 at Shore Memorial Hosipital, Nassawadox.

A native of Hog Island, Mrs. Hamblin was the daughter of the late John Bell and the late Fannie Simpson Bell.

Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, Jan. 30 at 1:30 p.m. at the Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore. The Rev. Darrell Webb will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Haven Cemetery, Belle Haven. Family will join friends at Doughty Funeral Home this evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Mrs. Hamblin is survived by three children, Faye H. Sturgis and her husband Gordon of Exmore, John Larry Hamblin and his wife Virginia of Willis Wharf and James Winfred Hamblin and his wife Virginia of Willis Wharf and his wife Jane of Vero Beach, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of the Eastern Shore, P.O. Box 316, Parksley, VA 23420.

Arrangements were made by Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore.
