Lynne Merritt Kleyla

Lynne Kleyla of Crystal Beach, Onancock, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2012, at home with her family by her side. Lynne was a stewardess and a pioneer for women in the field of realty in Virginia. When not a loving mother and grandmother, Lynne loved to travel the world making friends wherever she went. Lynne was predeceased by her daughter, Lynne, and is survived by two sons, Van (and wife, Deanna) of Painter, Virginia, and Robert of Portland, Oregon. Additionally, she is survived by three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012, at 1:00 PM at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Rev. Jack D. Pruitt officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the S.P.C.A. Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 164, Onley, VA 23418.Lynne never saw a dog she did not love.
