Lyman Eason Willis, III

Lyman Eason Willis, III, 64, a resident of Franktown, VA, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Eastville, VA, he was the son of Barbara Churn Willis of Cheriton, VA and the late Lyman Eason Willis, Jr. He served in the United States Navy, was a farmer and member of Franktown United Methodist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children, Benjamin Eason Willis and his wife, Gillian, of Franktown, Sara Deitrick Willis of Eastville; three sisters, Suzanne Rogers and her husband, John, of Onancock, VA, Kit Booker of Hampton, VA, Collier Austin and her husband, David, of Kill Devil Hills, NC; a brother, John N. Willis and his wife, Lena, of Cheriton and four grandchildren, Emma Jeanne Willis, Benjamin Eason Willis, Jr., Lara Ann Willis and Hudson Lane Yokem.
A celebration of life service will be conducted Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 2:30 PM at Franktown United Methodist Church with Reverend Judith Worthington officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Franktown United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, Post Office Box 130, Franktown, VA 23354.
