Lyle Lee McLaughlin

Lyle Lee McLaughlin, 83, husband of the late Phyllis Pauline Shrader McLaughlin and a resident of Pungoteague, VA, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at his residence. A native of Marlinton, WV, he was the son of the late Lonnie Preston McLaughlin and the late Stella Grace Kelley McLaughlin. He was a retired truck driver and past president of the Maryland Saltwater Sport Fishermen's Association. He is survived by two children, Dexter Lyle McLaughlin and his wife, Marie, of Columbia, MD, Sheryl Lee McLaughlin of Linthicum, MD; a brother, Lonnie Preston McLaughlin, Jr. of Marlinton and a grandson, Bradley Lyle McLaughlin and his wife, Jeanna, of Mesa, AZ. To honor his wishes no public service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, P. O. Box 8888, Virginia Beach, VA 23450.
