Lucy Addison Restein White, 75, wife of John Williams White Sr., passed away December 10, 2005 at her Cape Charles residence following a long illness. A native of Eastville, she was the daughter of the late John and Jane Evans Addison and the widow of Joseph Jackson Restein II. Other than her husband, she is survived by four children: Joseph J. Restein III and his wife Claudia of Cape Charles; Jane R. Bailey and her fiance Chris Richardson of Salisbury, Md; Carolyn R. Stiles and her husband Phillip of Eastville; and John Addison Restein and his wife Wendy, also of Salisbury. Additional survivors are her brother, John Chewning Addison and his wife Byrd of Richmond; a stepson, John W. White, Jr. and his wife Carin of Va. Beach; and six grandchildren: Jason King Restein and his wife Meredith, Joseph Weston Bailey, Lauren Elizabeth Bailey, Claudia Evans Stiles, Joseph Addison Restein and Ashley Nelson Restein. Mrs. White was a lifelong member of Christ Episcopal Church, where she formerly served as altar guild chairman; her other memberships included the Debedeavon Garden Club and The Colonial Dames XVII Century. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 13, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, Eastville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
