Lucy Carpenter Belote

Mrs. Lucy Carpenter Belote, 81, wife of the late Frederick E. Belote and a resident of Cape Charles passed away Sunday December 23, 2007 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox. A native of Machipongo, she was the daughter of the late Inez Carpenter. Mrs. Belote was a retired manager for the Cape Charles Dollar General Store. Mrs. Belote is survived by two children, Constance B. Herman of Virginia Beach and Michael E. Belote of Cape Charles; three grandchildren, Bridgette Carstens and her husband Matthew, Erin Herman, both of Poquoson, VA and Denise Herman of Wayland, New York; one great grandchild, Billy Carstens of Poquoson, VA. Mrs. Belote was predeceased by a son, Gary Keith Belote Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside of Cape Charles Cemetery Thursday December 27, 2007 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Randy E.
