Lucille Wilson Simpson, 93, wife of the late Lennie Simpson and a resident of Quinby, VA, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 at her residence. A native of Willis Wharf, VA, she was the daughter of the late Lafayette Wilson and the late Mary Jane Farmer Wilson. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She is survived by two children, Jo Ann Simpson Fluhart and her husband, Dorsey, of Quinby, Thelma Simpson Farlow and her husband, Eddie, of Willis Wharf; a brother, Irvin T. Wilson and his wife, Marilyn, of Kitty Hawk, NC and five grandchildren. Mrs. Simpson was predeceased by two daughters, Sue Simpson Annis and Patricia Simpson and a granddaughter, Cynthia Annis. A memorial service will be conducted Monday, August 18, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Exmore, VA with Steve Swinski officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, P. O. Box 1169, Exmore, VA 23350.
