Lucille Hayden Armstrong

Lucille Hayden Armstrong, 89, wife of the late A. Tolbert Armstrong and a resident of Fredericksburg, VA, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Alexandria, VA, she was the daughter of the late Luther Hayden and the late Jessie McGuire Hayden. She was the former owner of A & S Glass Shop in Alexandria and a member of Colonial Beach United Methodist Church. She is survived by a son,the Rev. Kenneth "Skeeter" Armstrong and his wife, Betty, of Machipongo, VA; and a sister, Mary Hutchinson of Fredericksburg. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, William "Skip" Armstrong. A graveside service will be conducted at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria at a later date.
