Louise Dye Ware

Louise Dye Ware, 97, wife of the late David Allen Philpot. Jr. and the late James Crawford Ware and a resident of Eastville, VA, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of LaGrange, GA, she was the daughter of the late Henry Edwin Dye and the late Ruth Garrett Dye. She was a retired librarian for the Virginia State Highway Department and attended Eastville Baptist Church.
Louise is survived by a son, Allen Philpot and his wife, Linda, of Eastville; a grandson, Jesse A. Philpot and his wife, Jennifer, of Eastville; three great grandchildren, Emma Louise Philpot, Eli David Philpot and Ellis Jacob Philpot, all of Eastville; and three step-children, John Ware, Suzanna O'Donnell and David Ware. She was predeceased by her step-son, Peter Ware.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Eastville Baptist Church with Reverend Peter Surran officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 283, Eastville, VA 23347 or to Cape Charles Memorial Library, 201 Mason Ave., Cape Charles, VA 23310.
