Louise Chance Parks

April 22, 1919 — January 18, 2008

Louise Chance Parks, 88, wife of the late Donald B. Parks and a resident of Exmore, passed away Friday, January 18, 2008 at Heritage Hall Healthcare. A native of Melfa, she was the daughter of the late Elijah and Sallie Morris Chance. Mrs. Parks was a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Jean Ellen Huffman and her husband Pastor Frank Huffman of Exmore and Barbara Ann Bishop and her husband Edward of Pungoteague; 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Other than her husband, Mrs. Parks was predeceased by two sons, Donald B. Parks, Jr. and Kenneth W. Parks and granddaughter, Deborah P. Goffigon Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, January 21st at 2:00 pm from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Bishop J. W. Kellam officiating.
