Louis M. Onori, Sr. 76, husband of the late Patricia Ann Brandt Onori and a resident of Nassawadox, VA, formerly of Burlington, NJ, went home to be with HIS LORD on Sunday, September 25, 2011, surrounded by his family and loyal loving dog. Louis was the son of the late Josephine Santini Onori and the late Luigi Onori. Lou was born and raised in Burlington City, NJ and proudly spent 72 years there prior to relocating to VA. He retired from the City of Burlington Water Treatment Plant after more than 41 years of dedicated service. He was a lifetime member of The Endeavor Emergency Squad and N.R.A. When Louis wasn't at work he could be found in his yard tending to his vegetable and flower gardens, cleaning his pool or playing with man's best friend unless it was hunting season. He loved to deer hunt and was a member of the Goose Pond Gun Club. He was a former member of the Mt. Holly Moose and Burlington Roma Club. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Naval Reserves and then the U.S.A.F. as a jet aircraft mechanic. Lou was a simple man that loved to try to make people laugh. He believed his highest calling in life was to be a hard working, loving, faithful and dedicated son, husband and father. He was famous for saying the best thing he ever accomplished in his life was marrying the love of his life, Patricia and having three children.Lou is survived by his two daughters, Shellie L. Onori and husband, Nuri Onal of VA, Michelina Onori-Perry and husband, Shane, of VA; one son, Louis M. Onori, Jr. and wife, Tricia Kulpa Onori of PA; three grandchildren, Michael and Maeson Perry and McKenna Ann Onori; also several nieces and nephews that he adored. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas A. Onori and his sister, Michelina Onori-Smith. Family and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral services at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington, NJ on Friday, September 30, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with a Christian Service conducted by Reverend Canon Donald Muller.
