Louis White Belote, Jr., 53, a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA. He was born in Nassawadox, VA, on April 9, 1964. He was the son of the late Louis W. Belote, Sr. and the late Pauline Belote Simpson. He was a member of Exmore Baptist Church and a graduate of Northampton High School, Class of 1983. He was an avid basketball fan, gardener, fisherman, lover of country music, and his passion was art.
He is survived by a brother, Bob L. Belote and his wife, Anne, of Eastville, VA; a sister, Melissa A. Munguia and her husband, Armando, of Enterprise, AL; five nieces and nephews, Adam Belote of Savannah, GA, Sarah Belote of Baltimore, MD, Timothy Belote of Nassawadox, VA, Ashley Munguia of Enterprise, and Michael and his wife, Amanda, of Orlando, FL; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will also be greatly missed by many friends and church family. In addition to his mother and father, he was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, the late Will and Marion Belote, and maternal grandparents, the late John and Ruby Voyles.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 13th, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Reverend Jonathan Carpenter officiating. To honor his request there will be no viewing. Interment will be private in Belle Haven Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted.
