Miss Louanne Emory, 55, of Exmore passed away Monday July 24, 2006 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk. A native of Hopewell, Va., she was the daughter of the late Edward Emory and the late Virginia Clifton Emory. She was a humanitarian, animal lover and a friend to all she met. She is survived by a sister, Kay Emory of Exmore, her loyal dogs, Windy and Chena, her aunts and uncles, her first , second and third cousins and all her special friends. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted Friday July 28, 2006 at 1:00 pm from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating. A special service will be held at a later date to commemorate her wish to be memorialized in a eternal reef ball which will be placed in the Chesapeake Bay.
