Lola Smith Doughty

Lola Smith Doughty, 97, a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Shore Life Care in Parksley. Mrs. Doughty was a native of Hog Island, VA and was the daughter of the late James Smith and the late Hallie Simpson Smith. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Peggy D. Roberts of Onley, VA; one grandson, Norman E. "Nickie" Parks, Jr. of Onley, VA; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Alice Bowen and four brothers, Theodore Smith, Edgar Smith, Arnold Smith, and Jack Smith. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Belle Haven Cemetery with Pastor L. Raymond McGarr officiating. Memorials may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church, P.O.
