Linda Floyd

Linda Leigh Floyd, 70, a resident of Marionville, VA, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021, at Shore Health and Rehabilitation Center in Parksley, VA. A native of Marionville, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry Floyd and the late Edwina Burch Floyd. She was a graduate of James Madison University, retired Librarian for Northampton County Public Schools and a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.

She is survived by her brother, Henry B. Floyd and his wife, Tilley, of Pilot, VA; two sisters-law, Jane Floyd and Carole Floyd; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, E. Eldred Floyd and Charles Warner Floyd.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 13, 2021, at 2:00PM at Red Bank Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. John Robertson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Red Bank Baptist Church, PO Box 932, Nassawadox, VA 23413.
