Linda Eder

Linda Marie Eder, 73, wife of the late Robert Lee Eder, Sr. and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023, at her residence. A native of Cape Charles, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward Gray and the late Mary Ella Davis Gray. She was a retired Toll Collector for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel and loved cross stitching, crocheting, and gardening.

She is survived by two sons, Billy O’Leary and his husband, Paul, of Norfolk, VA, and Robert Eder, Jr. and his wife, Wendy, of Cape Charles; seven grandchildren, Hannah, Ethan, Savannah, Ella, Caleb, Charlotte, and Isaiah; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted Monday, January 23, 2023, at 1:00PM at Cape Charles Cemetery with Reverend Jeff Conrow officiating. Family will join friends at Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home Monday morning from 11:30AM til 12:30PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cape Charles Rescue Service, P.O. Box 3009, Cheriton, VA 23316.
