Linda Barnes Belote

Mrs. Linda Barnes Belote, wife of Lewis Belote and a resident of Exmore, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox. A native of Greenbush, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Milfred "Mif" Barnes and the late Mary Wilson Barnes. She was the owner of Looking Good Hair Salon in Exmore. She was a member of Exmore Baptist Church. Other than her husband, she is survived by four children, Traci Justice and her husband Ray of Exmore, Va., Steven Belote and his wife Eve of Melfa, Va., Susan Payne and her husband Terry, Richard Belote and his wife Sheila, all of Onancock, Va.; a sister, Pat Hutchinson and her husband Bob of Virginia Beach, Va.; a brother, Bobby Barnes and his wife Jo of Ocean City, Md.; eight grandchildren, Brooke, Devon, Skylar, Braden Justice, and Nicholas, Jade, Hayes Belote and Hayley Payne. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 14, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Exmore Baptist Church with the Rev. Jonathan Carpenter officiating.
