Lewis W. Klipper

Lewis William Klipper, 75, husband of the late Jacqueline V. Klipper, died at his home in Machipongo in the presence of his loving family on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his children, Donna, Celeste Joy, Charlene Jo, Leigh Ann, Jacqueline, and William. He is the grandfather of Lee Arthur Fairweather and Rylan Klipper. Lewis lived with his family in Rochelle Park, New Jersey and was a sales manager for Suburban Propane in Mount Kisco, New York until he retired in 1994. He was a United States Army Veteran. During his retirement, Lewis fell in love with the Eastern Shore and enjoyed gardening, fishing, gourmet cooking, and building and flying model airplanes. A private family service is planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Eastern Shore, 165 Market Street, Suite #3, Onancock, VA 23417.
