Lenore Vaughan Savage

Lenore Vaughan Savage, 53, a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. A native of Cape Charles, she was the daughter of George Jacob Savage, Jr. and Virginia Clay Savage of Cape Charles. She was a member of Holmes Presbyterian Church and an avid supporter of the Cape Charles Historical Society. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two children, Lewis Kane Springer and his wife, Amanda Rian, of Sneads Ferry, NC, Joseph Reese Springer of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, Jake Savage and his wife, Laura Leigh, of Richmond, VA; a sister, Kathy Fountaine and her husband, Robert, of Townsend, VA; a granddaughter, Lux Kenedi Springer of Sneads Ferry; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be conducted Friday, August 28, 2015 at 1:30 PM at Holmes Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dr. Eugene Soud officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cape Charles Historical Society, Post Office Box 11, Cape Charles, VA 23310.
