Leighann Blanchard

Leighann Blanchard, age 51, passed from this world on January 16, 2021 at her home in Winston Salem, NC.  She was born in Norfolk, VA, to Mary A. Roberts Clark and George Stephen Roberts. Leighann worked in retail for many years until she was forced to retire due to health issues.  She was a loving mother to Chelsea Frederickson and grandmother to her two grandchildren.

Leighann was preceded in death by her father, George Stephen Roberts and stepfather, William E. Clark.  Left to grieve her passing is her daughter, Chelsea L. Frederickson (Jarrod Frederickson); her mother, Mary A. Clark; her brother, Stephen W. Roberts; a niece, Amanda M. Roberts (Brandon Dalton); and her uncle, Ernest L. Copley (Helen (Happy) Copley).  Leighann was Gi Gi to her beloved grandchildren, Brooklynn and Brantley and auntie to Brandon Joseph, Brayden James, Brianna Marie, Bradley and Bryson. Leighann will always be loved and remembered by her family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be conducted, Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 2:00PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Pastor Mary Jimenez officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SPCA Eastern Shore Inc.
