Lawrence Snook Jr.

Mr. Lawrence Snook Jr., 79, husband of the late Virginia Louise Snook and a resident of Jamesville, Va., passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox. A native of Randolph, N.J., he was the son of the late Lawrence Snook and the late Edith Nichols Snook. He was a retired tool maker for Howmet Corporation and a Lifetime Member of the V.F.W. and a United States Navy Veteran. He is survived by three children, James Robert Snook of Hopatcong, N.J., Deborah Jean Benson and her husband Charles of Jamesville, Va., Mark Alan Snook and his wife Christine of Townsend, Va.; three grandchildren, Christopher Snook and his wife Lorine of Hopatcong, N.J., Ryan Benson of New Village, N.J. and Amberley Roio and her husband Michael of Newton, N.J.; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 6th at 5:00 PM from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Military Honors. The Rev. Jack D. Pruitt will officiate.
