LaVerne Wilson

LaVerne Wilson, 85, wife of Irvin T. Wilson and a resident of Quinby, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Heritage Hall Health Care. A native of Troutville, Virginia, she was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and attended Exmore Kindgom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Other than her husband, she is survived by a sister, Virginia Goode of Roanoke, Va.; two grandchildren, Tammy Mears of Parksley, Va., Wesley Wilson of Wattsville, Va.; three great grandchildren, Cameron Wilson, Tabitha and Tiffany Mears; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wilson was predeceased by a son, Thomas A. Wilson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from the graveside of Franktown Cemetery with Mr. Stephen Swinski officiating.
