Laurence E. Hale

Laurence Eugene Hale, 77, husband of the late Judith Foxwell Hale and a resident of Machipongo passed away Friday May 12, 2006 at his residence. A native of Wichita, Kansas, he was the son of the late Garrett A. Hale and the late Clara Coward Hale. Mr. Hale was retired auditor for the Federal Goverment and owner of the Kit And Caboodle Book Store in Exmore. Survivors include two brothers in law; Albert Foxwell and John Foxwell, both of Mechanicsville, VA., a sister in law, Jean Foxwell of Richmond, VA. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials contributions in his memory may be made to Hospice of the Eastern Shore, P.O.
