Larry Smith

Larry Milton Smith, 80, husband of Lynn Elissa Smith and a resident of Jamesville, VA, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021, at his residence. A native of New Hope, PA, he was the son of the late Lester Ivins Smith, Jr. and the late Ester Reba Antrobus Smith. He was a retired Electrical Engineer for Lockheed Martin.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by three children, Dr. Randall Scott Smith and his wife, Elizabeth, of San Marcos, CA, Leigh Ann Harrison and her husband, Kenneth, of Orwigsburg, PA, and Karen Taheny and her husband, Tom, of Lynchburg, VA; a sister, Betty Lou Painter and her husband, David, of Southampton, PA; a brother, L. Ivins Smith III and his wife, Joanne, of Hackettstown, NJ; five grandchildren, Logan, Devlan, Brendan, Michael, and Annemarie; and a great granddaughter, Meredith.

To honor his requests no public service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
