Larry Hicks

Larry James Hicks, 64, a resident of Melfa, VA, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James L. Hicks and the late Evelyn Belote Tarr. Mr. Hicks was a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed traveling, photography and painting.
He is survived by three sisters, Deborah H. Colburn and her husband, Doug, of Exmore, VA , Sandra M. Hicks of Melfa and Patti Ann Kilmon of Exmore. Mr. Hicks was predeceased by a brother, Wayne K. Hicks.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Reverend Bobby Carroll Huether officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Intrepid Hospice, Post Office Box 770, Onley, VA 23418.
