LaBelle Tyndall

LaBelle Pruitt Tyndall, 80, wife of the late Samuel William Tyndall and a resident of Keller, VA, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 at her residence. A native of Locustville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Harry T. Sturgis and Ada E. Killmon Sturgis. She was a retired Postmistress for the Keller Post Office and member of Hollies Baptist Church. She is survived by six children, Patricia Smith and her husband, Patterson, of Exmore, VA, Thomas E. Pruitt and his wife, Brenda Lee, of Craddockville, VA, Keith Pruitt of Exmore, Judi Renwick of Keller, Paul Tyndall and his wife, Mary Lou, of Wattsville, VA, Larry Tyndall and his wife, Sybil, of Palm Bay, FL; a sister, Marian Colonna of Onley, VA; a brother, Everett Sturgis and his wife, Ginger, of Wichita Falls, TX; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Hollies Baptist Church with Reverend Joe McKnight officiating. Interment will follow in Hollies Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will join friends one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Eastern Shore, 165 Market Street, Suite #3, Onancock, VA 23417.
