Kay Goswellen

November 16, 1943 — October 22, 2007

Lillie "Kay" Goswellen, 63, a resident of Onancock,VA, passed away Monday, October 22, 2007 at Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Quinby, VA, she is the daughter of Pauline Johnson Isdell of Pungoteague, VA and the late Samuel H. Isdell, Jr. She was a member of Exmore Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Samuel J. Goswellen and his wife, Terry, of Fredericksburg, VA; two daughters, Melisa G. Rios and her husband, Tony, of Belle Haven, VA, and Beverly G. Bedgood of Jacksonville Beach, FL; two sisters, Karen I. Wilson and her husband, Jimmy, of Melfa, VA, and Paulette I. Kelley and her husband, Greg, of Pungoteague, VA; eight grandchildren, Samantha and Andrew Goswellen, Jon Killmon, Lindsay H. Miller, Jessica Hundley, Makalie, Mandy, and Kaycie Bedgood, and two great grandchildren, Juliette Hollingsworth and Talan Hundley, numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the graveside of Fairview Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Jonathan Carpenter and the Rev. Joe McKnight officiating. Family will join friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 PM at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be sent to the Onancock Volunteer Fire Company, c/o David Mason, P. O. Box 28, Onancock, VA 23417.
