Kathryn Lee Costin

Kathryn Lee Costin, 69, wife of Richard Costin and a resident of Townsend, VA, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Townsend, she was the daughter of the late Gilmer F. Elliott and the late Josephine Kathryn Wilgus Elliott. She was a landscape artist for Cherrystone Campground. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Burleigh Price of Eastville, VA, Hope Brady and husband, Jerry, of Eastville, Samuel Oakley and wife, Patricia, of Cape Charles, VA, Christina Peters and fiancé, Danny McNeal of Jamesville, VA; three stepchildren, Leslie Pauline Costin of Capeville, VA, Eldred A. Costin of Townsend, Richard Wayne Costin of Birdsnest, VA; a sister, Mildred Marshall of DE; sixteen grandchildren, Elvis Aaron Price, Shannon Alan Price, Kasey Reneé Price, Eric Preston Price, Joshua Christopher Salenski, Ravon Spring Price, Kimber Lea Hall, Samuel Lee Oakley, III, Tyler Lee Oakley, Jacob Ryan Oakley, Brandi Nicole Jenkins, Zachary Shane Price, Paige Marie McNeal, Kala Ann Robair, Kirby Lee Robair and Cody Thomas Robair; eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, George Robert Price, Jr.; a sister, Jennie E. Oakley; and a brother, Gilmer Franklin Elliott, Jr. Funeral services will be held graveside at the Capeville Masonic Cemetery on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 1:00 PM with the Reverend Jeff Conrow officiating.
