Katherine McCoy Sparrow

Katherine McCoy Sparrow, 56, a resident of Machipongo, VA, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, NY. A native of Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of Frances Cummings Parker and her husband, John, of Machipongo and the late Donald E. McCoy.
She is survived by two sons, Jason B. Sparrow and his wife, Stacey, of Cheriton, VA, Nathan S. Sparrow and his wife, Megan, of Chesapeake, VA; a sister, Cindy M. Fisher and her husband, Steve, of Florida and two grandchildren, Hayden and Analyn Sparrow, both of Cheriton. She was predeceased by two brothers, Donald McCoy and Matthew McCoy and her husband, Donald Kellam Sparrow.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Capeville Masonic Cemetery with Reverend Russell Goodrich officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Katherine McCoy Sparrow Funeral Fund at www.tmcfunding.com.
