June Byrd White
September 11, 1926 — July 3, 2015
June Byrd White, 88, wife of the late Paul A. White, Sr. and a resident of Onley, VA, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Onley, she was the daughter of the late James Milton Byrd and the late Ethel Gladding Byrd. She retired from Farmers and Merchants Bank and was a member of Onley United Methodist Church. She is survived by three children, Diane W. Atkinson of Painter, VA, Paul A. White, Jr. and his wife, Bonnie, of Accomac, VA, James L. White and his wife, Lynn, of Onley; seven grandchildren, Traci White and Jonathan, Jennifer Piatak and her husband, Gary, Kelly Savage and her husband, C.W., Rebecca Hall and her husband, Michael, Nicole Landon and her husband, Steve, Paula Lee, John William Atkinson, Jr. and his wife, Kerri; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Annabell Byrd Waters. A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, July 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Edgehill Cemetery with Reverend Charles W. Parks, III officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Riverside Shore Cancer Center, P. O. Box 17, Nassawadox, VA 23413.
