Julie Christian

Mary Julia Christian, better known as Julie, 53, a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at her residence. A native of Exmore, she was the daughter of the late Rupert Christian and the late Evelyn Harrison Christian. She was retired from the United States Postal Service and a member of Exmore Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sister, Susan Jane Christian of Exmore; step-daughter, Sheverron Lavone Kratochvil of Exmore; three step-granddaughters, Dawn Mears, Mariah Kratochvil, and Selbie Kratochvil, all of Exmore; aunt Lena Jo Condon of Clarksburg, NJ; and uncle, Frederick Harrison of Franklin, WV.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 3, 2019, at 1:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Reverend Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Exmore Baptist Church, 11624 Occohannock Road, Exmore, VA 23350 or Dogs Deserve Better Eastern Shore, P.O. Box 70, Exmore, VA 23350.
