Julia Anne Young Johnson, 81, wife of the late Kinsey Ray Johnson, Jr. and a resident of Grapeland at Wardtown, VA, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015 at her residence. A native of Sanford, VA, she was the daughter of the late Warner Franklin Young, Sr. and the late Helen Elizabeth Byrd Young. She was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church where she served in multiple capacities for many years.
She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Lee Johnson of Grapeland, Mary Helen Quinn and her husband, David, of Ellicott City, MD, Dr. Julia Annette Rayfield and her husband, Severn, of Cape Charles, VA and a grandson, Kinsey Dehaven Rayfield of Cape Charles.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. George's Episcopal Church with Reverend Cameron Randle officiating. Interment will follow in St. George's Episcopal Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
