Juanita Shelton Parker, 87, wife of the late Ernest James Parker and a resident of Hacks Neck, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox. She was the daughter of the late Elmer Shelton and Mollie Killmon Shelton. She was a member of Evergreen Methodist Church. She is survived by three daughters, June Goga Collins and her husband William of Melfa, VA, Ernestine Parker Cherrix and her husband Buddy of Exmore, VA, Patricia Parker Phillips and her husband Danny of Willis Wharf, VA; a brother, Harry L. Shelton of Onancock, VA; four grandchildren, Pamela Goga Clayton, Gerald Anthony Goga, John Labon Phillips, Dawn Phillips Parks; three step-grandchildren, Byron Collins, Jeff Smith and Mark Cherrix; five great grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Goga, Bethany and Jared Clayton, Brandon Evans, Lane Parks; seven step-great grandchildren, January and Thomas Collins, Brandon and Kyle Patterson and Ryan Manning, Kaitlyn and Ryan Smith; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two granddaughters, Kelly Dawn and Angela Lee Colonna. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Carpenter officiating.
