Joyce Munden

Joyce Lynn Russell Munden, 64, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025. 

She was born on August 19, 1960, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to Andrew Russell and Beatrice Russell Newlin (Kenneth Newlin). 

She was a proud resident of the Eastern Shore Community, where she lived a full life dedicated to her family, friends, and pets. She loved all kinds of arts & crafts and provided others with a smile & some laughs. 

She is survived by her children Tatum (Johnnie) Swain, Christopher Munden, Crystal (Richard) Munden , and Stephanie Munden; siblings, Albert Russell, and Alberta Sides; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. 

She is predeceased by daughter Sabrina Dumas, son Richard Munden, Jr. and granddaughter Ijonae Swain. Joyce will truly be missed, forever cherished and loved.
