Joseph Paige Doughty
June 20, 1948 — January 7, 2018
Joseph Paige Doughty, 69, a resident of Norfolk, VA, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at DePaul Medical Center in Norfolk. A native of Willis Wharf, VA, he was the son of the late Morris Garland Doughty and the late Ada Lee Smith Doughty.
He is survived by a daughter, Channing Perdue and her husband, Brandon, of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren, Ashlyn Perdue, Wyatt Perdue, Georgia Perdue, all of Fayetteville, and fourth grandchild due in July. He was predeceased by a brother, David Doughty, and a sister, Gail Doughty Warren.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, January 13th, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Doughty Funeral Home with Reverend Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Exmore Baptist Church, 11624 Occohannock Road, Exmore, VA 23350.
