Joseph Domenic Adams

Joseph Domenic Adams, 76, husband of Donna Robinson-Adams and a resident of Painter, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox. A native of Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Domenic Adamo and the late Francesca Ferraro Adamo. He was co-owner and resident Artist, Adamo, of the Painter Gallery and a member of the Eastern Shore Art League. Other than his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Lea Tryvette Adams of Hagerstown, Md., Valerie Sherts and her husband Kenneth of Conestoga, Pa., a stepson, Bobby Robinson and his wife Rebecca of Benicia, CA, a sister, Adeline Wijnen of Teaneck, N.J., four grandchildren: Rachel, Manny, and Chris Sherts, and Trevor Adams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews in Italy and the United States and many friends and colleagues around the world. He was predeceased by two sisters, Tomosina Adams and Beatrice Perri of Italy. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, April 26th at 2:00 pm from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with the Rev. Patricia Kellam officiating. There will be an open house/reception at the Painter Gallery, 33412 Lankford Highway, in Painter following the service.
