John Pipas

John Pipas, 94, husband of the late Gloria Janowski Pipas and a resident of Jamesville, VA, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Michael Pipas and the late Anna Kaschak Pipas. He was a retired kitchen manager for Kings Park State Hospital. He is survived by two children, Carol Draper and her husband, Roger, of Jamesville, John L. Pipas and his wife, Suzanne, of Tampa, Fl; four grandchildren, Gillian Cummings, Rebecca Seabrook, Jon Pipas, Christian Pipas; and eight great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 870 Greenbrier Circle, Tower II, Suite #404, Chesapeake, VA 23320.
