John "Jack" Nottingham
July 21, 1925 — October 25, 2014
John Olin Nottingham, better known as Jack, 89, husband of Dorothy Wimbrow Nottingham and a resident of Belle Haven, VA, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Nassawadox, he was the son of the late Hazel Collins Nottingham and the late Richard H. Nottingham. He was a United States Army Air Corps Veteran, retired District Manager for A & P Grocery Stores with 41 years of service, a member and past board member of Epworth United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife of 65 years, he is survived by two sons, John O. Nottingham, Jr. of Raleigh, NC, Steven M. Nottingham and his wife, Lynn, of Exmore, VA; three grandsons, Geoffrey L. Nottingham of Exmore, Michael A. Nottingham of Exmore, Dustin E. Hardstock and his wife, Emily, of Ashland, VA; and one great grandson, Harrison Hardstock. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, October 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Belle Haven Cemetery with Reverend Mikang Kim officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Fire Company, Inc., Post Office Box 706, Exmore, VA 23350.
