John Edward Brady

John Edward Brady, 81, husband of Mary E. Brady and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at his residence. A native of Northampton County, VA, he was the son of the late Mike Brady and the late Catherine Moore Brady. Mr. Brady was a retired waterman. In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, John Edward Brady, Jr. of Cheriton, VA, Wanda Lee Brady of Cape Charles, Mary Louise Bowman of Cape Charles, Richard Wayne Brady and Ann of Cape Charles, Diana Lynn Townsend and her husband, Jonathan, of Birdsnest, VA; one sister, Virginia Pearl Parker of Cape Charles; five grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. Mr. Brady was predeceased by a son, Michael H. Brady. A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Heritage Acres Community Room in Cape Charles with Reverend Joe Moore officiating.
