Joan Marie Tordo

Joan Marie Tordo, 79, wife of the late Maurice Tordo and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 at her residence. A native of Port Chester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Hugh McMunn and the late Anna Melson McMunn. She was a member of Exmore Baptist Church. She is survived by four children, Jeanne Marie Irons of Exmore, Loralei Unger and her husband, Frank, of South Carolina, Rori Lee Homme and friend, Dirk, of Oregon, Justin Homme of West Virginia; ten grandchildren, Rick Irons, Chris Irons, Frank Unger, Aubrey Unger, Kevin Winans, Ian Winans, Jesse Barrett, Justin Homme, Jason Homme, Ryan Homme; several great grandchildren; and her beloved pets, Maurice, Mac, Petey B. and Annie. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Exmore Baptist Church with Reverend Jonathan Carpenter officiating. A viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Exmore Baptist Church, 11624 Occohannock Road, Exmore, VA 23350.
