Joan Marie Salenski

Mrs. Joan Marie Salenski, 74, wife of Frederick T. Salenski and a resident of Cheriton, Va., passed away Friday, May 2, 2008. A native of Chaumont, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Ivan Caywood Becker and the late Albertina Schumacher Becker. She was retired from Sunset Beach Resort. Other than her husband, she is survived by five children, Annette Dwyer and her husband Dennis of Camillus, N.Y., Randy Salenski and his wife Joann of Sitka, Ak., David Salenski and his wife Janet of Seattle, Wa., Mark Salenski and his wife Terry of Cape Charles, Va., Marie Salenski and her fiance` Ronald Rock of Cape Charles, Va., two sisters, Marilyn Crouse of Three Mile Bay, N.Y., Christine Settles of Owensboro, Ky., and a brother, James Becker of Cape Vincent, N.Y., twelve grandchildren, one great granddaughter and a special caregiver, Charlotte Gonzales. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 4:00 PM from the Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home in Cape Charles with the Rev. Nathan Decker officiating.
