Joan Casler, 82, wife of William E. Casler and a resident of Pungoteague, VA, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at her residence. A native of Toms River, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Clayton and the late Alma McKelvey Clayton. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Linda Joan Curtis and her husband, Joe, of Porter, MA, Judi Ann Gordon and her husband, T.C., of Chesapeake, VA, William Vernon Casler and his wife, Denise, of Bayville, NJ, Becky Lynn Secor and her husband, Rod, of Lumberton, NJ; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and one great - great grandchild. She was predeceased by a daughter, Wendy Lee Daugherty. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 13, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Maranatha Baptist Church with Reverend Michael Muender officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Maranatha Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1423, Exmore, VA 23350.
