Mr. Jim Edward Clark, Sr., 81, husband of Elisha Catherine East Clark and a resident of Daugherty, passed away Monday, September 3, 2007 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox. A native of Missouri he was the son of the late James Monroe Clark and the late Florence Fern Smith Clark. He was the owner of Clark's Tv in Onley. He was a member of Clark's Presbyterian Church. He served in the United States Army and Airforce. Other than his wife he is survived by two daughters, Tammy Middleton and her husband Upshur of Daugherty, Va., Becky Griffin and her husband Steve of Dover, PA.; a son, Jim E. "Eddie" Clark, Jr. and his wife Jane of Daugherty; a sister, Betty Spellman of Jackson, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Robbie Brownlie, Jamie Clark, Tommy Clark, Jonathan Lagasse, Stacey Clark, Chelsey Lagasse, Kaitlyn Griffin; and two great grandchildren, Tyler Clark and Johnny Lagasse. He was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Clark. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 7th at 2:00 PM from the graveside of Edgehill Cemetery with Military Honors. The Rev. Jack D. Pruitt and the Rev. Kemp and June Charnock will officiate. Family will join friends at the Doughty Funeral Home Thursday evening from 7 to 8:30.
