Jewell Boole Tatum

Mrs. Jewell Boole Tatum, 85, wife of Burleigh M. Tatum and a resident of Belle Haven, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, June 15, 2005. Mrs. Tatum, a native of Marionville was the daughter of the late James David Boole and the late Elizabeth Parramore Boole. She was a retired secretary and bookkeeper for Smith Douglas Corporation/Divison of Borden. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and a member of the Mildred Stephenson Chapter #117 Order of Eastern Star. Other than her husband, Mrs. Tatum is survived by two sisters, Catherine B. Wilkerson and her husband Roy of Selbyville, De., Ethel B. Bonifant of Lakewood, Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 17, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Red Bank Baptist Church in Marionville with the Rev. Dr. William Nieporte officiating.
