Jerry C. Turner

Jerry Colonna Turner, 81, husband of Wanda Bush Turner and a resident of Wachapreague, VA, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Wachapreague, he was the son of the late Garland Lee Turner and the late Susie Colonna Turner. He was a retired supervisor at DuPont in Wilmington, DE and attended Powelton Presbyterian Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kim Aichele and her husband, Dave, of Huntersville, NC; a brother, Robert L. "Bobby" Turner of Wachapreague; two grandchildren, Justin Aichele, Shea Aichele, both of Huntersville; and a nephew, Bill Turner of Wachapreague. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 1:00 PM at Powelton Presbyterian Church in Wachapreague with Rev. Bill Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the S.P.C.A., P. O. Box 164, Onley, VA 23418 or to Powelton Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 98, Wachapreague, VA 23480.
