Jerry Michael Stevens, Sr.

Jerry Michael Stevens, Sr., 63, husband of Belva LeCato Stevens and a resident of Quinby, VA, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA. A native of Melfa, VA, he was the son of the late Forrest Hyden Stevens, Sr. and the late Addie Voyles Stevens. Jerry was a retired mechanic, hard worker and good provider.

In addition to his loving wife of 43 years, he is survived by two sons, Jerry “Michael” Stevens, Jr. and his wife, Kimberly, of Quinby, and Jonathan Martin Stevens of Quinby; a brother, Emerson Stevens of Seaford, DE; a sister, Darlene Stevens of Newport News, VA; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Forrest Hyden Stevens Jr. and Kenneth Ray Stevens.

Due to the current situation with the COVID- 19 virus, funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smith Chapel United Methodist Church, c/o Gwen Blake, 5046 Seaside Road, Exmore, VA 23350.
