Jerry D. Ellerbe

Mr. Jerry D. Ellerbe, 63, husband of Ellen Farlow Ellerbe and a resident of Exmore, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox. A native of Clovis, N.M., he was the son of the late Aubrey Ellerbe and the late Leona Harrison Ellerbe. He was the owner of Ellerbe Adjustment Company. Other than his wife, he is survived by two sons, Eric L. Ellerbe and his wife Yeshim of Istanbul, Turkey, Brian E. Ellerbe of Richmond, Va.; a sister, Georgia E. Sanders and her husband Andy of Tatum, N.M., a brother, Billy Joe Ellerbe of Parksley, Va.; and a granddaughter, Erica Ellerbe of Exmore, Va. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Thursday, August 3rd at 2:00 PM from the Doughty Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Bowen officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
