Jenny Lee Genslicki

Jenny Lee Genslicki, 75, wife of the late Charles Robert Genslicki, a resident of Machipongo, VA, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. A native of Tazewell, VA, she was the daughter of the late Peery B. Hankins and the late Sarah Elizabeth Repass Hankins.

She is survived by two children, Annette Wolfe and her husband, Earl, of York, PA, and Scottie Powers and his significant other, Katrina Becker, of Murphy, NC; two step-children, Ronnie Genslicki and his wife, Barb, of Texas and Linda Genslicki and her husband, Daniel, of Glen Rock, PA; four brothers, Dover, Peery, Allen and Eddie; three sisters, Kathleen, Vivian and Barbara; and four grandchildren, Kane, Julia, Slade and Dawn. She was predeceased by a son, Philip Powers; two grandsons, Adam Wolfe and Andrew Wolfe; and a sister, Blinda Kunkle.

To honor her request no public service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979 or American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0163.
