Jeanette Bonniville Edgerton

Jeanette Bonniville Edgerton, 87, wife of the late Donald Lloyd Edgerton and a resident of Virginia Beach, VA and Cape Charles, VA, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2011 in Virginia Beach. A native of Oyster, VA, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Forrest Bonniville and the late Maude Melson Bonniville. Mrs. Edgerton was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Cape Charles and a member of the Debedeavon Garden Club. She served as a pink lady at N.A.M. Hospital and as a hostess for Garden Club of Virginia Historic Garden Week. Our beloved "Net-Net" was a true southern lady with a ready smile and a kind word for everyone she met. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Hayes Edgerton of Richmond, VA, and Jan Edgerton Willis of Virginia Beach; one son, Lloyd Byron Edgerton of Sarasota, FL; two grandsons, Arthur James Babinski III and his wife, Jessica, of Charlotte, NC, Ryan Lloyd Babinski of Harrisburg, PA; two great-grandchildren, Arthur James Babinski IV, Ava Kathryn Babinski, both of Charlotte; and one niece, Bonnie Hickman Cox and her husband, Joe, of Johnson City, TN. Mrs. Edgerton was predeceased by a sister, Courtney Bonniville Hickman; a grandson, Neal Byron Edgerton and a great-grandson, Neal Anthony Edgerton. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Cape Charles Cemetery with Dr. J. Scottie Griffin officiating.
